We are a small, family friendly firm, located near Lawrence Avenue West and Avenue Road in Toronto.
David I. Warren has been practicing law since 1982, he is a general practitioner, but focuses on Real Estate, Family Law and Wills and Estates. He has done duty counsel work, representing those who are unable to afford a lawyer in Family Court and Child Protection matters.
He was a founding member of the Artist’s Legal Advice Service (ALAS) clinic which provides free legal advice to artists of all disciplines including visual artists, actors, writers and musicians. He recently received an award for thirty years of service to this organization.
He is also a member of the Mariposa Folk Festival Hall of Fame, as he served as a member of the board for the Mariposa Folk Festival for over twenty-eight years, including time as both president and artistic director of the festival.
He is an active member of the Family Lawyers Association of Toronto.
Shirley Meier is David’s regular assistant. In addition to a background as a legal assistant in other firms, Shirley is a science fiction, fantasy and horror writer and a visual artist.
Filomena Rocco has been a real estate clerk for many years and has done literally thousands of real estate transactions. She works remotely from David’s office but is always available to handle routine transactions and solve the occasional complex real estate transaction.
Serenity a Shi-tzu, is our public relations director with years of experience in cuddling and being petted. She is not always in the office due to her busy schedule.
